How to figure correct North Arrow orientation and related questions

On the floor plan, the south on the plan is really the west direction and the newly crated building elevation and sections now says incorrectly "South Elevation", and so on.

I do not want to change the orientation of the plan view, but how to I change the north direction so the newly crreated elevations sand sections how the correct orientation? (That is, other than using "rename", which I know is one way to renaming the drawing after it is created).

Beside renaming....rotating the views on the floorplan by 90°

Yes, rotating the view is another way, but that is not what I want to do this time, since the small floor plan is drawn at the desired orientation on the view with the entrance door showing on the lower side of the floor plan, which is the west side.  

I read on one Revit book a long time ago how to work with the north arrows and how to do that, and even did it before, but this is one of the things in Revit that are forgotten quickly if it is not used again (this is one of the problems with the program, which is very sophisticated and capable, but inherently extremely complicated and laborious to do certain things with "super secret" steps easily forgotten if not used often).

Are you talking about Project North and True North? Setting up a location to reflect the position of the building on an earth position vs north relating to building?

From Site View select Project Base Point and assign your Orientation then go to any plan if u need to make it with the right orientation and change your orientation to True North

Rename the elevations. The suggestion by @L.Maas is to rotate the elevations itself not the view I think. You can't rotate the view while correcting which elevation is which as they will rotate along. Either with true north/project north settings or rotating the crop region, it doesn't matter/do anything.

Rename the elevations.
Rotate True North if you want your building orients correctly, but it is not a must.

Used the link that you provided to re-educate myself a little bit about this issue, Maas, and added the symbols on the floor and site plans with the True North symbol rotated.  Hope that in the future I can address this matter more in depth.

You've marked a solution, but Project North/True North is not the answer to your question which was about renaming and/or moving views to their corresponding elevations. So most replies answer that question, firstly the answer by @L.Maas which is by rotating the elevation markers... Are those the symbols you are referring to btw?
