Sounds like you are doing a "Save As" and not "Save".

Hi
It does not matter if I do save or save as
The dialoge jumps and mostly on the writing line and can not be closed
BTW, I'm working with Revit 2022, It did'ny happen to me in the previous versions

Are you loading it into the project when saving?

Hi,
I'm not sure I understood your question.
When I work on a project and try to save the file, a help message pops up and sometimes hides important information. I do not want any message to pop up and I do not know how to cancel it. Apparently it's something to do with system settings and I can not find how to do it

It seems that your issue is not clearly stated. It would be beneficial to upload a screenshot of what you are talking about.

Do a Repair Installation. Know how?

...you could also try deleting the Revit INI file and letting Revit rebuild a new one upon launching.

That's what I thought you were talking about. Try going around the type selector on your way to save to prevent it from popping up.

Hi
It does not seem to me that something went wrong in the app. I also did not see anything strange in  revit.ini
anyway I am afraid to do a reinstall

Reinstalling probably wouldn't solve the problem.

I didn't say to do a reinstall. I said REPAIR.  It's safe to do. Promise.

What kind of custom configurations are you referring to?

I've seen this across multiple versions, machines and places. I doubt a repair will solve the issue. Avoidance is probably the best solution. Also, after it pops up and before hitting any other buttons, move you cursor over the type selector again and it goes away.

You could ask if @barthbradley has ever experienced this. I've got a feeling that he is guessing.

It's called troubleshooting, my man.  And, no; in 10+ years with this software, I've never ran across this specific issue. I'm not even convinced it's a Revit software issue. Regardless, I'm very comfortable with the advice I've imparted herein so far.  If it is unhelpful to the OP, then I would suggest that the OP contact Autodesk directly via opening a Support Case.
