How to draw an extrusion along a reference line?

I have set up a reference line in my family. It is fixed at one end and rotates correctly according to an angle parameter. I want to draw a rod style extrusion that uses the reference line as its axis of revolution with the base of the extrusion starting on the fixed end plane of the reference line and ending at the free end plane. Then I can vary the length of the rod by varying the reference line length and the rod can swing around the fixed end at the angle I enter.

Hey!

You may want to use nested family.

In the first family, you control length of the rod.

In the second family, create an adaptive point which rotates a family with a parameter. Place your first family on the adaptive point.
