How to create patterned fascia?

I want to create some patterned fascias like the one bellow. I don't know where to begin, Please suggest me some ideas or tutorials

I'll use in this case a thin wall placed in the proper position, and the Edit Profile.

• place the wall and activate Edit Profile:

• then either draw the pattern in Revit or, better import it from a CAD file (as shown in attached screencast)

• the pattern is a repetitive pattern as shown in the enclosed  marked area

i wish there is a separate and simple tool  to do the job; i am a beginner so i was expecting it like that. I think i'll get used to it...
