How to create a parametric fillet

Dear all,

In the family environment, I would like to create a parametric fillet for a curtain track (sketch path of a sweep) which has two straight segments connected by a fillet.

I would like to change the angle between the straight segments and make sure the fillet is always tangent to both.

At the moment when the angle of the fillet varies, one tangent is broken. Please see snipping below for clarification.

fillet created for a 90 degree anglefillet created for a 90 degree angleWhen varying the angle, the fillet is not tangent anymore to both segments. When varying the angle, the fillet is not tangent anymore to both segments.

Is there a way to keep the fillet tangent to both segments for all the angles comprised between 90 and 180 degrees excluded?

Kind regards.

Vincent

There are a number of way to do this. You can put to use that trigonometry you learned in the eighth grade -- or you can do something that causes a little less brain pain like I'm showing in the attached...

select the fillet line and lock both the tiny padlocks at the end.
