How to create a ceiling profile

I am trying to create a moulding profile to be attached to the ceiling.  Obviously wall profiles do not apply.  Any ideas on how to attach the shown profile to the ceiling?  Many thanks for any suggestions.

Why would a wall profile "obviously" not apply?  Just create a wall profile with the offset or assign the offset in the type parameters.  It doesn't have to be part of the wall type, it can be wall based.

 

Or 

 

Just model in place with a sweep.

I ran across this post solved by @dzanta a while ago which could also be a potential solution for the profile you have in that image. A generic model nested into a line based family...I wouldn't have done it any different (see link below)
