I have an issue with the joint between two walls. The one is a load-bearing brick wall (140mm) and the other is non-bearing brick wall (90mm). They both have practically the same settings, because the 90mm is a duplicate from the 140mm wall. I only changed the thickness and the material. But the material style from the 90mm is again a duplicate from the 140mm wall. And as you can see in the picture, the joint between the two walls is shown with a line. I want to remove this line. How can I do this? Is this because I have "different" materials?

Several reasons cause this behavior... Material is one of them. A duplicate of a material is treated as a new material so yes it is a reason you are having that line
another reason could be the layer type... Example: one is Structure (1) and the second is Finish (4) or (5)
another reason... Setting wall join to "Don't Clean Joint" would also leave a similar line
there is a detailed article on Autodesk Knowledge network which can help understand the behavior and join priorities in detail
