How to constraints the 2 end points of lines in array

Hi All.

 

I am struggled with a simple line array. as shown in the screen shot below.

 

I aligned the 2 ends of the model line to the reference planes. The line flexes with the dimension parameter h. Then after array, the line loses its constrain to the 2 reference planes. now If I locked the two end points to the reference plane Revit will ask me to ungroup that instance, or remove the constraint. 

Can any one advise or take a look at my family file attached?

See attached your revised family. See if you can reverse-engineer it to see what I did to fix it. 

 

Hint: the arrayed element is a nested element/Family.  The nested Family's "h" parameter is associated to and driven by the "h" parameter in the host family.

I would create another flexible line family so the line will fill the 'h'.
