Yeah, no problem. Just, as Toandn says, the forum gives you some 30 minutes to edit your post (if nobody has replied yet). But you can continue posting in the same thread with another explanation, instead of making new threads.
Also, something else that we try to avoid is putting several questions or topics in one single thread. In that case, it is better to make a new thread for each new question.
Another good practice is to finish the conversation, if it was resolved, using the "Accept as Solution" button on the post that you consider as the solution for your thread. Then the conversation is considered closed, resolved.
