How to Connect Multistory Stairs' (with Different Story Height) Raillings?

I am using multistory to create stairs going from the 1st floor to the 4th floor. Level 1 and 2  have the same story height of 12 ft, Level 3 's height is 15 ft, the railings don't connect well at the spot where the second and the last stairs meet.  It seems the 1st and 2nd stairs railings share the same path due to the same story height, so I can't modify the path locally to fix the issue. If you create the stairs without using multistory, then the railings won't connect smoothly at all between the stairs. I also try to isolate the stairs which I want to modify the railings using disconnect but it doesn't work. Is there any solution?

Can you unpin the odd stair/railing and modify them?

I tried and couldn't unpin only odd stairs, as you can see that 1st and 2nd stairs share the pins.

Actually you don't even need to unpin anything, just tab on the railing you want to modify and modify the path.  See screencast in a few minutes.

If you edit the path, then it would affect the raillings from 1st floor to 2nd floor as well, but I only need change the one at the 3rd floor where the railing meets the one that goes up to the 4th.
