So I collected all of the cabletrays I have in my file, I have no service type sat for any of them.

But I still have this annoying values... and I do not want them cus they will be very missleading to the engineers.

does somebody know how to clean this?

What is your question? How to edit the dropdown list of Service Types?

...or do you want the Service Type to be blank for particular Cable Trays? Delete the value then.  Creating a Cable Tray Schedule would be the easiest way to edit a bunch of them at one time.

I do not believe it is possible. If they are confusing users that much use a project parameter instead

So this is about clearing the drop-down list of unused Service Types?  I would think that would be even more 'misleading' and confusing to the engineers.  But before you unilaterally implement a 'workaround' (if that's what you are thinking), I would bring your engineers into the fold to get their two cents worth since you are handing the job over to them to work on.

That's my two-cents worth.

Not really. My question is: how can I get read of the values for Service Type I'm not using. As you can see in the dynamo script I do not have values for Service type in my project, but I still have values I have used in the past. What I want is to get rid of values like Signal A and B so they do not appear in the dropdown anymore

Hm ... I can do that, you have a point. But can I clean the values we never use for service type in Revit? cause If that is not possible Is worthless to talk to them anyways cause these values will remain there anyways

No you cannot delete the 5 default system types. You can either use a project parameter and ignore the OOTB one or you can simple add a prefix to your systems such as an underscore ... this way the ootb type would be sorted at the end of the list
