How can search for invisible objects that are far away from the building, and delete these objects from the model either the main Revit model, or within a linked Revit model.
just right click in the center of your monitor screen > zoom to fit , if your building is not on the center of your screen that means you have object far away from the main building you will not be able to see that object, just cross your mouse to those objects and delete. if it is hidden just activate your bulb icon and unhide elements/category. thanks
There also a few reasons, try to unload all your linked and AutoCAD files then zoom to fit. If is still not go to the center of your screen, it could be your customized family loaded in your projects, check also your visibility graphics may be some categories are uncheck. Drag/cross your mouse on the screen and look in your filter icon if found something > then go your sunglass icon and isolate categories and delete from there. Thanks
Well, if it's invisible, the first thing to do is to Reveal Hidden Elements. Next would be to determine where rogue element resides; in the Host Project or Link. Unload the Link and then Zoom Extents in the Host. If Zoom Extents looks correct in the Host, then the rogue element must be coming in with the Link. If so, open the Link and get rid of it -- or put it back where it belongs.
Out of curiosity, where is the Survey Point? That could very well be the "rogue" element if it's visible in the View. If the Survey Point is miles away from the Project, then Unclip it and move it to the Project Base Point and then re-clip it.
