Anybody knows how to select a single wall material across several wall types and change it to another material? Dynamo solutions welcome too.

... hi @FinearcLtd
... if the walls are sharing the same material of course you can
... or you can create a wall material take off schedule, filter by material, and select from the schedule
.... you can either create a Selection Filter or enter a value in the Comments fields of the material row and use it for a Rule based filter.
....or one of the best ways would be to create Material Takeoff Properties dialog, for Available Fields then select the material attributes. later sort and group, or format the schedule.

Dynamo is also a possibility. You can read and write the compound layer materials from the walls and then replace it with an other one.
The clockwork package has some nodes that can help:
-FamilyType.CompoundStructureLayers
-FamilyType.SetCompoundLayerMaterial

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
Thank you for your reply. I created the correct material takeoff but I cannot change the material there, nor for each single wall type neither for all of them together. Am I doing something wrong, or did I not fully understand your suggestion?
