Hi
I have a peculiar problem related to Revit 2019, 2017 and also Inventor 2017 (at least these are the ones I've tried). My machine is a PC running Windows 10. This is what's happening. If I launch Revit then It will hang on splash screen and never actually start up the program. On the other hand, if I reboot Windows and directly when OS boots up, if I'm fast enough to launch Revit, then it will start normally. I have every update available installed and I have also tried to reinstall windows 10 but the same problem appears.

Hello, you didn't mention your computer specs? Are you using the programs before without issues or just installed lately. Did you check if your PC meets the system requirements to run the program. Thanks
My computer meets the requirements. I have an I7 with 16GB ram. Maby graphics card isn't the optimal but using revit before, like 2 years ago, I didn't have any problems. I think problems begun with some Windows update but I'm not sure. I was hoping someone here could recognize the same issue with some suggestion for solution.
Here are a few things that you can check:
I suspect that you can launch it immediately after restart your computer, the security hasn't started yet and can't block Revit. But if you wait after all Windows services are loaded, it's already active and blocks Revit.
You need to figure which service is blocking Revit, maybe ask your IT team to find the culprit.
And if you think a Windows update cause it, try to uninstall the updates dated back to the last day it still works.
Cheers,
