How to calculate unit area in Revit and tag it

Hello,

I am searching information how to  calculate residential building unit area (sum of specific rooms areas) in my project and tag it in floor plan.

I have specific shared parameter (name of unit) for different units to calculate different unit areas (see screenshots attached). I have found how to create shared parameter and create room tag with unit name, but can not find, how to tag calculated room area.

Thank you for help!

You can't push this Grand Total in the Schedule to the Individual Room Tags.  Best you can do is manually input this Grand Total into the Room Properties.  So basically,  bring your Shared Parameter into a Project Parameter and assign it to Rooms, and then select the Rooms and manually enter that Grand Total Value for each Room.

You cannot use tag, but you can create total schedule and add it to the sheet view.

Create a Room schedule, sort/group and format it to show only the total and the Unit #, then place it on sheet over the Unit plan.
