How to align material apperance flatwise

Hello everyone .I have created sidewalk and roads mathcing topography with floor and roof elemants  by Dynamo .But When I assign material , material apperance align with the bumpy surfaces.How can fix it at least for material apperance.Or is tehere any easier way to crate roads and sidewalk matching topography ?

Try and tab select one of the walkway paving lines and align it with the correct orientation.  You may need to select the line and rotate it first.

My work flow is pretty much the same, but you can just align the textures in 3D juts make sure your pavement (side walk) material has a graphic surface pattern that is aligned with the render appearance pattern.

 

Some screen grabs below to explain what i mean, hopefully that makes sense?

You mean fixing manuelly .But I have a large area to fix one by one.I have attached project I am working on

Unfortunately yeah, or certainly that's the way i would approach it. it doesn't take all that long i've done it on large areas juts a bit monotonous... but at least it works
