How to add drywall finish under a bulkhead or header

Need advise on the current steps on how to add the visible drywall finish under a bulkhead or header? (that is, how to terminate what is seen below the bulkhead from below, of a bulkhead made with 3-5/8" studs with 5/8" gypsum wall board on each side, and that is also seen in the section detail of that bulkhead or header).

Thanks in advance.

Apply the gyp as a Floor. That's what we do.

Regarding a bulkhead: Way back I used to make the gypsum wall board on each of the sides, and also the metal studs, flexible so each component could be moved down or up when the end line of each of these wall components is picked.  I did that in Edit Type dialog of the wall, and then clicking "Edit" and in the Section Preview unlocked the padlock of each of the components.  I have done so in this particular wall with gypboard on each side, but on section the triangle allows me to move the entire wall up or down, but not the individual component this time.  It seems that there is something else (like an additional setting that needs to be adjusted or else?) that I need to do to allow the components to be screeched individually when the wall is in section.

How come that this time I cannot stretch each component of the wall individually even after unlocking the padlock?

Thanks in advance.

Unlocked Layer must be adjacent to one another. Instead of unlocking the outer gyp finish layers, unlock the core/layers between and give them  a base extension offset.   That make sense?

I unlocked the core layer and also the gypboard layers on each side, and I still get the single triangle which allows me to move the entire wall but not each of the components. I will like to move each of the components as the adjacent ceilings and soffit walls dictate.

No can do with a compound layered wall, but you could turn the compound layered Wall into Parts and do this.

How do I find if a wall is compound, and how to turn into parts?
