How does the Energy Analysis Tool calculate EUI?

Hi,

I'm confused with the EUI results of the energy analysis in Revit.

My question is related to the units: kWh/sm/yr (electricity)

In the anual energy cost we can see how many kWh does the volume consum.

Then, the sm by which the energy is being divided, to which it refers? To the "common floor area"?

Insight 360 uses Green Building Studio as the energy anaylsis engine, which is a DOE-2.2 engine. More about GBS validation here.
