How does georeferencing works in Revit? How do I import point cloud with georeference and export the model from Revit and it lands on the accurate location?

Hi, may I know how georeferencing works in Revit?
My job requires me to construct as built BIM model with georeferenced point cloud. I have tried using so many methods but never find a proper one where the BIM model I export land on the accurate location.
Even if I use CloudWorx plug-in, the point cloud will end up somewhere far, which made it hard for me to adjust the setting to start modelling, let alone exporting it on the proper location.
I have done some research and find methods, but they all honestly will only add up work on the workflow. I maybe can afford to use some many additional softwares like Cyclone 3DR just to align the model, but not for my clients. So, is there any solution to this problem? I have read so many other forums and have not found the answer yet.
I really appreciate it if I can find some answers here. Thank you.
