How do you only show the most recent revisions on a title sheet?

Good morning

I'm working in REVIT full 2022 and I'm looking to reduce the number of revisions that are shown on some of my sheets as they are now overrunning the title sheet. I have included a screen-grab as a example.

If I remove some in the properties bar, say the first 4, it changes the revision letter on the others which is unhelpful. I just want to hide the ones that overrun but keep all the revision letters as they are so they are a true representation of what's gone out.

I'm sure this is probably really easy but I just cant work it out.

Thank you so much in advance.

Depends on the sheet family you're using I think, maybe you could share it here. Probably you're now using the revision setting numbering per sheet and/or possibly not the nescessary field to show in the revision schedule.

Hi, it is but I now have too many to fit on the titleblock so I want to hide some without changing the revision numbers. So hide Rev. A-D and only show the ones after that but if I de-select them it starts the first revision shown on the sheet as A again when infact I want it to show as D.

I think I'm probably missing something really simple

You would have to have the Revision Number field in the Revision schedule on the titleblock, which looking at the sheet family you do already. And then just have the Revisions Numbering setting under View -> Revisions (below add/delete) set to Per Project.

Hi, yes that's what I've got but when I remove revisions from the sheet it re 'letters' the remaining ones.

I need to be able to remove some of the earlier revisions but keep all the revision letters the same as they currently are.

Hmm, the alphanumerical numbering should adhere to the revisions that are created on the sheet when you have Revisions Numbering setting (under View -> Revisions below add/delete) set to Per Project. Maybe check it again...

Sorry I don't think I'm explaining myself correctly.

In your example I would like to remove revision A from the sheet itself but still have revision B and C showing as revision B and C on the sheet even though A is no longer visible.

@gbairdVMX6J Think I got that, not sure why it wouldn't work as mentioned in previous posts. Like this, right?

Thank you - I see what you mean now, my fault entirely

So it sort of works but it messes up all of the other revisions - I have different revisions on different sheets depending on when they were amended/issued and if I do that it 'letters' all the revisions consecutively when in reality there are about 6/7 different rev C's for example which apply to different sheets.

Sounds like you are describing this infamous issue:

Edit the revision schedule, appearance tab, set Height to User defined, and stretch the height of the schedule to where you want it to stop.

Sounds like you'd have to create your own sets of numbering, also under View -> Revisions -> Customize Numbering (Revit 2022). You can create your own numbering sequences as required, ie. C1 C2 C3 which will then be selectable under Numbering. Or something similar.
