How do you delete a point from a topoSolid?

Is there a solution for this yet?

Select the toposolid > Modify sub elements > select the point(s) > delete.

It's the same as modifying floors.

I did that but for some reason it's not deleting the point.  Is there something else I need to do for the delete?

No, that is all you need to do to delete a point from a toposolid.

When I  right click on the point the delete command appears to be greyed out.  What could I be doing wrong?

Select the toposolid > Modify sub-elements > Select a point > Delete (there is no right click involved).

Either way, it's not deleting the point.

Select the points > Tap the Delete Key - the Delete button does not highlight on the ribbon, nor does Right Click offer Delete, it is disabled. Yes, strange but true.

So how do I enable the delete button?

You don't, TAP the Delete key on your keyboard to delete the selected point(s). I don't know why they disabled the Delete button on the ribbon or right-click. Not sure that was intended.

Apologies, but not sure what you mean by "TAP"

Thanks!

I seem to have two delete buttons on my keyboard.

One of them does not work.  The other does.

Not sure why both buttons dont work the same way.Keyboard.png

The one that doesn't work is Backspace key, to delete character on the left of your cursor, when editing text.

As @ToanDN says, one is Backspace and the other Delete (right on number pad area). You seem to be using a custom keyboard cover for a different application and that cover is calling the Backspace key "Delete" too. It's true that the Backspace key will often delete elements in Revit but it also generates an audible warning on my PC when I use it, whereas Delete does not.

Like I wrote earlier, it's strange that the usual tools don't work on the toposolid sub-elements. They either have a good reason for it or it's a mistake.

@SteveKStafford @ToanDN
The delete key on my keyboard will not delete points. I have tried all of the ways to delete and none of them work. I'm using Revit 2024.2.  I cannot delete points in floors either!

I watched the half hour youtube video about Toposolids made by the Balkan Architect so I understand all the cool benefits of toposolids. And I was looking forward to using them more but the point placement needs to be improved. We should be able to copy points with the copy command like we could in toposurfaces.

Toposurfaces worked pretty well but toposolids are a step backwards when it comes to something so simple, the ability to copy and delete points.

I just had my coworker test this and his delete key works! So its my keyboard that is the issue!
Do you know what hex key code Revit uses for the Delete key?
