How do I turn off MEP system colors?

I'm creating a set of realistic textured but not rendered 3D views for a presentation and all the MEP lines and ducts have these neon colored edges.  I've read this comes from some kind of system parameter in the MEP model which is helpful for them to do their work and is even useful to us in a few circumstances.  But I can't figure out how to turn it off in a specific view.  This link https://www.revitforum.org/architecture-general-revit-questions/14565-linked-mep-model-ducts-blue-pi...  suggests there's a possible override under view filters or overriding graphics by element but like most of the threads I read doesn't go into any detail explaining how.  I've tinkered on these fronts and I can make the elements disappear but not the colors.

View filters are the easiest way to override these colors.  They are also beneficial to learn in that they will open a whole new world to you.

Good Luck

The most important thing to know is that there is hierarchy in graphics overrides. THIS page on the Autodesk knowledge network describes that.

On that page also a LINK to more detail with regards to MEP.

Otherwise consider to upload a small relevant subset of your project so that we can have a look what has been set already.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

@Viveka_CD , I haven't had a chance to try anything @Anonymous or @L.Maas suggested.  Busy with details on another part of the project.  Will test it soon.

Has someone applied a System Color Scheme to the view?

If so, set the view's System Color Scheme parameter back to "None."

Oh, wait...maybe that only does fills, not projection lines (edges).

Most likely graphic overrides have been applied to the systems directly.

Find the system in the project browser, right click, and select system properties.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
