I need the shadows to only appear for the model, i dont want to have the backdrop shadows on the back of toposolid nor in the section cut.
been all day trying to find a way.
How do i set shadows to only appear on 3d model and not section cut

Each view has its own graphics settings so you can turn off shadows in the section view and leave them on in the 3D view. Whatever is visible in the view will be affected by the shadows. There is no option to "shadows ignore this element". So you're best bet is to crop the view down so the boundary does not reveal the shadows beyond your site or...increase the size of the topography so it is large enough that you can't see the shadows it casts.
