How do I attach a material that isn't square and have it tile without a gap

I am trying to attach a material to a model model of a house.  The material is a pattern of tiles that has an overlapping "puzzle piece" shape on the ends.  How do I modify the image to make the pieces fit together tight so there is no white space where the jagged edges match u right?  I was going to take the image into Photoshop and just cut out the angled piece but it doesn't work or I'm missing something.  Any thought?  I included the tiled image so you know what I'm talking about with the tiled image not lining up.

Hi @Anonymous,

I guess you want to modify this material in Revit, I would like  to move this topic to  Revit forum for there may more experts could help.

You need to make it tile-able in PhotoShop or some other photo editing program:  Use magic wand tool to remove the white part.  Duplicate the layer and move it the edge match to fill the cutout.  Crop.

See the sample below.  I didn't do it carefully so you can see the white gaps.  With a little patience you can make it come out tight and clean.

I did that using Photoshop Elements 10 and I took out the white areas just like it sounds like you did and I tried to tile the material and it didn't work.  How do you make the material "tile-able" in Photoshop?  Is the image you attached from Photoshop?  If it is, the next image will have a white space also.  I see what your describing but I think it is going to be the same issue when I try it this way.  Let me know if I am not understanding what you are talking about and thanks for your help.

Don't do this because I don't have Revit and I won't be able to recreate what you are trying.

A tile-able or seamless texture is an image that can be placed side-by-side with itself without creating a noticeable boundary between two copies of the image.

I created a new material from the image I posted in Revit (disregard the sloppy white joints due to bad Photoshop work).
