How do I add patterns to my filled region options

When I create a filled region in drafting mode I only have 7 or 8 hatch pattern options to choose from. When I go into 'addition settings/fill patterns' I can see many fill patterns but I can't figure out how to add them to my Filled Region choices drop down.

I'm using Revit LT 2017

Duplicate to create a new Filled Region type and assign a different Fill Pattern to it.
