How do I add faucets to sinks?

Hi.

I'm extremely new to Revit and I don't know many of the basic things that you can do there. I'm taking a course and added a sink, but when I look at it on the 3D view, it has no faucets. I don't know how to add them and I've looked around and haven't found how to do it.

Can someone help me, please?

Are you saying you placed a sink with faucet in the countertop hole? If so, I suspect it's hosted to the Level underneath the countertop and not hosted to the Countertop. Set your 3D View to Wireframe and you'll probably see the Sink/Faucet. If you do, select the Sink, click on Pick New Host on the Contextual Tab and then select the top surface of the countertop.

BTW: Not all sink families have faucets. Are you sure the family you placed has a faucet?

You can go here and search for, and download, faucet Revit Families:

Hi, thanks for your response.

I just added the sink from the components option (see picture 1).How I added the sink from the family componentHow I added the sink from the family component

What I'm trying to get to is the sink looking like this: What I'm trying to accomplishWhat I'm trying to accomplish

When I click on the sink, these two faucets appear, but when I try to create them, it lets me click once and then I don't know what to do .

Like I said, I'm very new to this program and I'm still not used to families and such 😞

Since you are very new to Revit, I'm going to suggest that you keep this list of 33  readily available for quick reference:

https://www.ideateinc.com/blog/2013/01/missing-something-in-revit-view-33

I believe the answer to your question here today, will be found by checking through this list of the 33.

...also, since you are new to Revit, I would strongly suggest that you work with only "Architectural" Folder Families, not "MEP" Folder Families.  Those Faucet Synbols you are see relate to MEP - specifically Plumbing. If you have MEP questions, you should ask those kinds of question on this forum:
