Clip the edge with a In-Place Void cut and then place a Wall Type that contains only the Finish Layers along the clip angle. Then use Join Geometry.

Several ways:

- add a vertical wall sweep with a custom profile

- model an in place void and cut the wall with it

- crate an opening family with voids that cut the wall to that shape (if it occurs at multiple openings)

Here is an example of using a wall sweep with a custom profile.  Your profile should be half of it and placed right at the end of the wall.

It gives me this error
Some Void Forms of this family do not cut anything and will be deleted. To make a Void Form cut something else use the Cut Geometry tool.

Go to Plan View. Activate Model In-Place (Architecture tab). Choose Void Extrusion and sketch the Profile. Finish and adjust the Extrusion Start/End Parameter values as necessary. Now use Cut Geometry tool to cut the Wall with the Void Extrusion. Close out of Model In-Place when done.

Just to be clear: you need to cut the wall with the void BEFORE exiting Model In-Place.

Note: this only works on system families. Is the wall a system family wall?
