Host mark in of Generic Models in schedules

Is there a way to schedule Host properties of Generic Models? I have created a face based family, whose Host Type, Host Mark, I wish to schedule. Am not finding a way somehow.

This is for a Shuttering(Casts) used for Concrete Beam & Slab Casting, but I think knowing this would help for a lot of other families as well for a large audience here. Please do refer the attached file created in Revit 2017, that contains the shuttering family.

hi @Anonymous

Below is my scenario for you challenge :

1. Create a new (shared) Host Mark parameter which will help identify the hosting. Create the schedule..add it and sort/group to your needs.

You can also add this shared-parameter in the families and fill in the host identifier. You can also use filter in the schedule to exclude what's not needed.

Below is just an example :

@Secttor, but that doesn't pick up the default "Hosts" property right!! It's just another text parameter which the user will have to enter manually. As a reference to the posted file, I am looking to get the scheduled elements to pick up the hosts that are the "wall type", or "Column Type" or "Column Mark" or "Structural Framing Mark" and things like that, so that it's an automated task.

As far as I know it's not possible to have the host scheduled.

You need a dynamo scrip to do that for you.

@Anonymous - without using Dynamo, manually entering the Host value into a text parameter would be the only other way.

You can add "host mark" as a project parameter, apply it to the required category and add the host mark manually to the instances. You can then add "host mark" to the schedule and filter things as required. It's a little bit manual and if anyone knows an easier way please share...

Does this have changed for REVIT 2022 or is this scheduled to change in future versions?

In other words, is or will the host properties of elements like generic models be available to schedule/filter/... in 2022 or in future versions?

Thanks.
