highlighted floor in 3d view

please guys bear with me, im new to revit and i´ve seen sheets where theres a regular floorplan view with all its details, and on the titleblock above the porject name, sheet number and etc theres an area where sometimes people place a small 3d view with the level show in the floorpaln highlighted and i dont know how to place this small highlited 3d view, i would gladly appreciate any help

Hello @Anonymous,

Use the following steps to get your 3D view with specific levels on your sheet.

1. first, create 3D views for each level.
2. activate the Section Box and set the section so you only see the Level for that View.
3. create an image from that view
4. create legend views per level and place the image on that legend.
5. place the specific legend on your sheet.

Note: Every time your model changes, you have to create new images and replace the old ones with the new images on your legends.

The reason why you have to use this method is of the fact that you can't place a 3D View on multiple sheets and legends you can.
