Hiding window swing lines from floor below

Due to operable and fixed windows not being lined up in our model, I can see operable window swing lines from the floor below on my floor plans. I realize an easy workaround is to set the view range depth higher so I cannot see the window below at all but many sheets with such views are owned by other consultant teams. Is there an easy way to solve this without touching view ranges? Such as modeling the swing lines as Model Lines instead of symbolic lines.

Turn off the Subcategory that the Swing Lines are using.  

...wait a minute. Below??? Uncheck "Show when Cut in Plan View" in their Visibility Settings.  If that doesn't do the trick, I suspect the Window below is being Cut in the View above.  Do you have a Model Line or something from that Window below that is extending into and being cut by the View above?

You need to check that very box, not uncheck.

Depends on what the element is; Symbolic or Model. Check the box like I have shown in message #3 is it's a Symbolic. Uncheck this box if it's a Model Element (as I stated in Message #2):

...and if neither work: you have got a model "something" reaching the cut plane of the level above.

Thank you - you're right in that the panel "below" extends over the slab of the floor above (where the plan is cut) by 2'. I have to move the view range up by that amount of switch the swing lines to model lines that end below the slab of the floor above.
