Hide Speciality Equipment Labels from linked Revit file

I have a linked revit file from my interior design on my project. She wants to keep the labels turned on for her plans but I want to hide all the labels from the equipment on mine. Only solution I have it turning them off every time she sends me an update in her file but I hoping to find a way to do it within my file as a filter or within VG.

This is not a tag, this is the label within the family. For example the dishwasher is showing DW in plan.

Thanks!

What about setting the Specialty Equipment Category's Detail Level to "Coarse" under VGOs?  Betcha that hides them.

Nested family annotation belongs to the Annotation Categories - Generic Annotations. You can turn that off but if you do it will affect any of your own content that uses them. However, you can "drill" into the linked file via V/G to turn of that category in their file.

I have tried to turn off every annotation category for a particular view in the linked file VG and nothing. I think because its technically not an annotation in the family, its a label.

A Label is a Generic Annotation Family.

The nested family is a Label family and they are assigned to Generic Annotation category...unless the family in question is using 3D text to show the information. Is it visible in 3D views too? Can you save out a clipped version of the file in question and save to post here?
