Hide nested elements in linked file

I am trying to hide elements from an attached model inside a linked model.

I have 2 models sent from the architect, the existing model (02) and proposed model (01)

I have model 01 (proposed model) opened and attached the 02 model, I load in the 01 model and want to turn off 02 elements by category. When turning off these categories in the visibility settings its only turning off the 01 model elements.

Is there somthing I am missing? I assume there is, there normally always is!

TIA

Hi @JWelshTMP ,

As nested Links don't show up in Revit links panel in the View's graphics override it can't be controlled that way (I assume that was the attempt?).

Best way is to not use nested links, Link both models directly in the host model.

Alternative; use viewfilters (only possible it the elements to hide have a unique value for a certain parameter)
