Hide Level Lines and Show Main Ones

Good morning. I just want to hide some level lines that are not relevant when setting up the sheets and keep the main ones. Is there anyway to achieve this?

Thanks

I don't understand your problem too well because , in an Elevation or Section View you can select the Level Line and from View > Hide in View you can hide it ( or using CTRL tab you can select more Levels and Hide them in the active View)

You can also Temporary Hide in View Level Lines

  • from View Control Bar > click on Reveal Hidden Elements (light bulb icon)
  • the Drawing Area halftoned and receive a magenta border (Reveal Hidden Elements) and the hidden element are shown in magenta
  • click on the magenta objects ( revealed hidden objects ) that you want to unhide ant then click on Unhide Element (Modify)
  • then to end the process click on Toggle Reveal Hidden Elements Mode

To hide “secondary levels” in a more “organized” and rational way you could use the “building story” build-in parameter of the level entity to create filters for your views.

  1. Choose the levels that you consider as “secondary”. Using the properties window you “uncheck” the “building story” parameter of each “secondary level” (you can find the “building story” parameter under the “identity data” section of the properties window.
  2. Then, using the “visibility overrides” you create a “filter” that selects and turns off all the levels that do have their “building story” parameter set to “no”.
  3. Then you create a “view template” that uses this filter and you apply this “view template” to all the views that you wish to see only “main” (building story) levels.

Keep in mind that in the identity data section of the properties of the level you have also a “structural” parameter that can be used to filter in a more precise way your levels.

hope it helps
