I have an adaptive point family, I have the visibility parameters set to hide them based on a yes no parameter, and in the familys 3D and plan space the adaptive points hide properly, but when its loaded into my model they still show everywhere.

Thats attached to a yes no visibility parameter to have it turn off based on a different parameter.

You can hide them by element or by category (Annotations Tab) or by filter.

I wouldn't do it through the Family. I'd handle their Visibility in Project Views.

I don't that works with Adaptive Point.  What particular reason you want to turn them on in project?  They can still be highlighted and adjusted even they are set to Invisible in the family.

I want to see some of them, but all of them are visible. 14 is the last one that should be visible. but im seeing 15 and beyond. but in the family environment it behaves, where 15 is not visible if I set the visible points to 14.

They only hide when i turn off adaptive points in the VG and not with the family visibility parameters I have set.

Then select only the Points you want to show in the project and tick the Visible box in the family, leave the rest of the Points unticked.  The bottom line is the normal Visibility parameter will not work here.

That doesnt show as an option. and thats pretty cumbersome for every point.

What I suggested needs to be done in the family, not project.  Do you want to select individual Adaptive Points in project and be able to turn them on or off?

If so, see the attached R22 family.

This is about hiding a select few APs in the Project; correct?  And. what you are saying is that you can't figure out how to do that?  Should be easy enough to accomplish.  Don't know what's going on at your end.

Post your file.

By the way, why don't you use Path of Travel tool?

I want to be able to tell the family 14, and only adaptive points 1-14 are visible, and 15 is invisible, like how it operates in the family, but when its loaded into the project environment, it shows the points beyond 14.

Because the segments cant be adjusted in the Z plane, it doesn't recognize circulatory elements.

Right, in the family environment its perfect, but in the project it changes how it displays.

Okay, I get that. I don't get why it's such a struggle.  That's why I asked to see your file.
