! Hidden lines

Hello all,

I created a floor plan and I want to see with hidden lines some generic model elements that are underneath of a link file.  I tried to use the Underlay option in the properties palette, but only some of the elements show on as hidden.

After I tried to set Show Hidden Lines : ALL , but I don't want to see the hidden lines of the links file. Is it possible ?

One other idea was to set the links file as Underlay (V/G), but with this way I lose the colors that I have set for the projection.

Thank you!

Thank you !

Depending on how you the link was modeled, you can filter out the  hidden elements from the link

I do not know what the elements are and how they are organised in the Link...for instance, if they are on a workset and worksets are mapped between link and host then you could filter by workset

I do understand not being able to share anything to look at due to confidentiality but also without having anything to look at one can can only make a suggestion...how to set it up at your end would need you looking deeper into the subject to find what suits your setup best. Lots on the net on filtering Linked models
