Hidden line in structural plan

(cross post from Revit Structure forum, I kinda in an urgent timeline now)

Hey guys! So I am working with the structural plan of my project. When using "Show hidden lines" in View panel to control which elements to show dash line, I only got straight lines, as can be seen in the picture. Note that the red beam is above the black beam

I applied the same visibility setting for architectural floor plan, sections and elevation, all works well. Trying to change the Discipline to Structural only make the problem worse, when every single element is shown (with straight line of course). Did I miss anything or is there any special setting needed for the structural plan? Thank you guys!

If the red beam is above the black beam, why would it show Hidden Lines? The purpose of Show Hidden Lines is to show elements that are obscured by elements above them in the View.  If the element is actually obscured, and Show Hidden Lines are Solid instead of Dashed,  then I suspect "Hidden Lines" under element's Category has been overwritten to show Solid Lines.

This is the structural floorplan, as you can see in the setting, the View Direction is "Up", which mean the red beam is obscured by the black beam if you look up. I even set the hidden lines to dash, but it doesn't help. here is a screenshot with Hidden Lines removedCapture2.JPG

View Scale. Find a Line Style that works at with the 1:50 View Scale.

Nope. All of my drawings are in 1:50. none of them has any problem with Hidden line, except this one. Here's a screenshot of Section, with Hidden line shown as Dash

P/s: I change it to all type of different dash line, dot line, still shown as straightCapture3.JPG

Interesting. Just tested your settings and I don't get anywhere near the same display you are showing.  Post your file. Let's have a look at it.

The file will be very heavy (~220mb), so I experiment with another file. Here is a fresh file from architecture template. I also recorded the process on getting the hidden line, and the problem is exactly the same as my file: floor plan look up, Show Hidden Lines shown as straight although Object styles set Hidden lines to Dash.
