Help with Preview Thumbnails for Annotations & Trim Profiles

Hello Everyone!

I am having an issue with preview thumbnails for custom revit families like annotations and trim profiles being way too small. It takes to long to realize what I am looking for.  I have tried the options under "save as" but they are not 3d, so do you just use "active view/sheet"? Am I missing something? I have attached an image showing my families (on the left) and what i am looking for (on the right). Any help would be much appreciated!

Make sure you zoom to what you want to see in preview before saving. Also you can try this plugin

Thanks for the response. Is this the "preview" (see attached photo) that you are talking about? I zoomed in a lot, but it doesn't appear to be coordinating/changing when I save it. Is there something I am missing or doing incorrectly?

I was wrong about the zoom, I did a small experiment and thumbnails seem to automaticly do zoom extents....

This is what I would do:

Clear your windows thumbnail cache:

https://neosmart.net/wiki/clear-thumbnails-cache/

Then install PIG plugin

https://apps.autodesk.com/RVT/en/Detail/Index?id=1718028284469690311&appLang=en&os=Win64

restart computer

PIG plugin is free, you just have to activate it. Do that by going to Revit Ribbon -> Addins -> activate now

Once activate it you will be able to set manually what the thumbnail shows. There is also a chance once you clear the cache, install the plugin and run Revit the thumbnails will start working properly again without you doing anything. There are some shenanigans happening in your windows.
