Help with modeling a roof

This is probably an easy one, but I am new to Revit.

How do I model the attached roof? I tried modelling it as a single roof by selecting all the perimeter walls, but it didn't work.

Does it have to be done as two separate roofs (as shown by the magenta dashed lines) and then add the infill (the blue dashed line)? I tried that too, but couldn't figure out how to add the infill.

Many thanks in advance.

If the dashed magenta line is supposed to represent the eave/overhang, this roof plan seems a little odd.  Got other info you can share?

...as one roof boundary:

Thanks for the reply.

The magenta dashed lines were simply meant to indicate the separate roof pieces in case I modeled the roof in 2 parts (as 2 separate roofs). They are not actual geometry.

I have now attached a new roof plan.

When I select all boundary walls, I get exactly the same roof as the roof you got, but at walls 2, 4 and 10 I need them to be gable walls as per the attached house elevations.

You can model them as 3 pieces of roof, 1 gable roof over the lower part, 1 hip with gable end over the top part, 1 roof by extrusion in the middle. Just join geometry to join them, then use Vertical opening to trim the middle one.

I have now done it using the 3 pieces method and the Join Roof and Cut Geometry tools.

Thanks for the help.
