help with creating parts and views

I am drawing tile layouts in revit for a project. I have created a new floor and am dividing the new floor into parts to show tile layout. When I go into 3d view the tile layout is still visible but when I go into the assigned floor plan it disappears. I have tried playing about with view templates etc but still no further on. Please help. OD

Parts?  Is the view set to show Parts or Both --  or is it set to Original?

... is it when you are inserting the views into sheets?

... if so could be a visibility issue

... check if your title is set to visible

When I change the part visibility to 'Show Parts' the floor disappears.

When I have the part visibility set to 'Show Original' or 'Show Both' The parts do not appear

it is currently set to show original, when I change it to show parts the floor deletes

- Extend the view depth further (lower)

The view range was the issue in the end up. Thanks for your help.
