Help me set my RCP view Range Please

Hey guys. I have a sloped ceiling and I can not set my view range so that I see everything I need to. 

9' on the low side and about 13' on the high side. I want my door swings and clearstory windows to show. Doors are 80" Tall.. Window sills set at 6'5"  - SEE SECTION attached.

I created a View Template - underlay Orientation is " Look up" but no matter how I mess with my range settings I cant see everything I want to at once. I have seen the drawings explaining how range settings work with RCP. I have tried to set accordingly and it doesn't work. Can someone recommend a setting for my situation so I can try and see if it works. Thanks!

You can cut both the window and door in RCP.  What's with the underlay?

Set the cut plane at 6'-7".

...or somewhere in-between 77" and 80".  How 'bout 78-1/2""?  That's within the 3" zone.  

...or maybe this has nothing to do with Project View Range Settings. Maybe this has everything to do with Visibility Settings of the Family.  I mean, I am still trying to wrap my head around what the OP is trying to do with an Underlay.  Sounds like it's an attempt to force something to be visible. 

Maybe the solution is a Plan Region. Dunno.

I know that I can - but I cant seem to cut them and also see my full sloped ceiling.  I added a snip to show you what i meant by underlay. Ive tried it as "looking up" and "looking down" it changes nothing

Any recommendations for my range setting?

See attached. at 6'7 nothing shows. If i set it to 9' 1/2 my ceiling shows.

When all else fails, Top="Unlimited" usually does it. 

BTW: How can you tell you aren't viewing the bottom of the ceiling? Are you trying to tag it with a Slope Anno and it fails?

I have top set to unlimited and view depth level set to unlimited. See attached images above for my settings

I have my ceiling set as a 4x4 ACT so I can see it when it when I cut it. If you look at my attached snips above you will see when I set my cut to 9' you see 1/2 of the ACT ceiling

Those screenshots don't help without a reference. I don't have your model in front of me.
