Hey Revit Community,

I'm having a problem with the hatch of a portion of the wall that has been split using split face, then painted.  I think this may just be a bug but I'm not sure.

Below is a screenshot of my view.  With the brick flashing showing correctly with a vertical hatch.

However, this is how its shows on my sheet when it's rotated.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

Using Revit 2022.1  btw

That is strange. Post your file and we'll see if it's replicable on our end.

Play around with the pattern's Orientation In Host Layers.

Does the material use a drafting or model pattern?

Ah, I was using a drafting pattern. Just switched it to a model pattern and it seems to stay oriented correctly now. Thanks 🙂

Align with Element would have worked as well.  But whatever.

I actually tried your suggestion first but it did not work. Thank you for your time though.

Did you toggle the Rotation on Sheet back and forth once?

Yes, and that fixed it temporary. But whenever I came back to the view it was still incorrect.
