hared Parameter Assignment to Sheets/Views

Hi all,

I've created shared parameters for views in Revit, including Type, Space, and Unit, and applied them to my views. However, when placing views on sheets, the parameters do not automatically transfer to the sheets. I've also assigned the shared parameters to the sheets, but it requires manually re-entering all the parameters.

Is there a way to skip the second process so that the parameters are automatically assigned to the sheets without having to re-enter them?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Can you explain exactly what it is that you are trying to do a straight-forward way - and without mentioning a Revit workflow that you think will get you there?

Share parameters of views and sheets are not related.  You might be able to "sync" them using Dynamo if you want to show them as Labels on sheets.  If you want to show them in a schedule then you could create a view schedule, sort/group by sheet, instead of a sheet index schedule.

Hi,

I need a method to display the shared parameters I added to my Project Parameters (assigned to views) directly on my title blocks when adding the views to the sheet, similar to how adding the scale as a label into title blocks automatically shows the view scale on the title blocks.

Let me know if my question is clear.

Hi,

Thank you for your suggestion. I understand that parameters of views and sheets are not directly related. However, I am curious why it works for the "Scale" parameter.

Do you have any Ideas about this?

Thanks,
