Has anyone taken the time to create a guy wire family? Any tips or would you mind sharing your family? I have tried creating my own but every time I import them they get stuck vertical and I cant get them to attach to the ground.

It would help if you uploaded what you got so far and the Revit version you are using.

Then we can see where you at and give advice

I made a bracket once, similar concept. See attached, you can study it.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Would a model line work? I am not sure if you need a full fledged family for this.

A generic adaptive family might be the easiest. I used a model line, but you could create a cylindrical sweep if you actually need 3D geometry.
