Guide for Revit Architecture

I am an alien in here. Can anyone guide me how to get understand the revit architecture.

currently i am using revit 2012. I dont know where and how to starts. is't proven effective to study revit tru online?

Step 1 : download Revit 2018

Step 2 : go to Youtube.com and search for Revit tutorials or Google free Revit lessons

Step 3 : ?

Step 4 : profit!

I've found the Lynda.com essential training quite useful for a start.

Once you know the bare basics it's best to learn in practice in my opinion.

 

Also, perhaps try to find your country's BIM protocol to get a better understanding of things like Levels of Detail and Levels of Information.

It is very important to note that Revit is a BIM tool, not just a 3D modeling program. In other words: the coupling of data to geometry.
