Grouped walls change constraint levels when group offset changes

Hi all,

We use groups to manage having similar units at different elevations. The problem is when we change the offset of a group, the base and top constraints of the walls inside the group also change, which becomes a problem when we come back to edit the units individually.

Here's a simplified demonstration of what's happening:

Is there anyway to turn off the automatic constraint change? Any help would be appreciated!

that is because revit round the number to up, if your base is in the middle revit changes the level to level above if you need to stay your level a level below so change your Base and top the wall:

Thanks for replying. I tried out the suggested solution, but it doesn't seem to work and the levels still change to the nearest references.

Thanks for the video, but maybe not exactly what we're after. I can see that the base constraint still shifts to level 2 even with this method. We're hoping to have consistent levels no matter how high the group is shifted, as we don't want to be looking at a ground floor plan while all the objects say it's on the floor above.
