Hello! The image below shows the structure for a ski slope on an analysis software. Another image attached shows what a timber gridshell roof is.
I am designing this in Revit. As you can see the roof on this analysis software is a gridshell roof (labelled in purple). It has on been put on the straight part of the structure at the bottom of the ski slope.
The grid shell roof is meant to all the way along the top (see direction of purple arrows) meaning that it curves horizontally and also vertically.
My questions are as follows: Are there any components to use instead of making the timber grid shell from scratch? In the Architecture tab of projects selecting ‘Roof’ there isn’t a grid shell roof and looked to load a component but there isn’t a roof folder.
How would you get the roof to curve horizontally and also vertically? I understand that the ramp tool is a able to do curves.
Thank you in advance!
