Grid lines that break in different views

Hey y'all!

I've done extensive googling and haven't been able to figure this out. Is there any way to break grid lines (in the same way you may break a section line) only in specific views? For example, it is not needed in the floor plans/site plan but the grid needs to be broken in the RCP. I know the method of editing the gridline's type properties and setting the center segment to none. This would effect every view with the grid line. I'm thinking the only solution may be to duplicate the grid, but that would cause a lot of headache. Do y'all have any tips?

so what you could do is have a different set of grids for the upper floors. Then you need to get a custom grid head that displays a different parameter than the typical Name. This will allow you to have two grids that display the same value within the same project. This is a trick i have used when you have grids from multiple buildings on the same sheet that have the same values. I typically add a Prefix like A for building A for the actual name.

It is very important to be in control of the vertical extents of your grids so that you dont see the grids from other levels if you dont desire to do so. Having scope boxes to control the extents vertically is how i usually solve this.

You could also have a different set of grids for RCPs that are on a hidden workset. But using worksets like that is often frowned upon.

You might be able to get there by overriding the line type.
