Grey Form Doesn't Disappear after Dividing Surface in Mass Family Template

When I create a form from a single line, it creates a grey plane. Usually when I divide its surface, the grey form gets replaced by a grid like surface. However, sometimes the grey form is still visible, which shows up in the model. How does one toggle this on and off?

I also realized when dragging the form, the grey form disappear and only leaves the grid. This is very odd..

Is this a glitch? This is in Revit 2019, but have noticed this issue in previous versions of Revit as well.

Hello! Have a look at your surface representation properties you might just still have the original surface viability ticked. Hope this helps.

Hi @Anonymous , thanks for your reply.

I see what you're saying, but toggling Original Surface on and off does nothing. See screenshots.

The moment I move the mass, it disappears completely (could be a glitch?).
