Graphical Error in Revit

We have a point cloud data with very large coordinates. When we import the point cloud into Revit with origin to origin option, Revit gives us an error message saying that the coordinates are larger than 30000. But it gets imported into Revit regardless. The real problem starts after that. The elements we draw after importing appears as irregular shapes. For example, when we draw a circle, it appears as a polygon, or some other random shape. Is there a way to fix this problem on Revit? The clients want the point cloud data to be imported with origin to origin. So, we can not consider inserting the point cloud with any other option. I have attached screenshots of the problem below:

This is the error message produced by Revit while inserting the point cloud.

This is how any element drawn after inserting the point cloud looks like.

Hi

Are you importing using Origin?

Try importing the Point Cloud via Centre to Centre and then using the Project Based point to then set the actual coordinates.

Hello,
I was wondering if you have found a solution to this issue?
I'm having the same issue in Revit2017 and can't seem to find a solution. Scaling is not an option.

Hi @Anonymous

Did you try the solution on this thread that talks about Point Clouds with large (OS) coordinates and Revit?

Let me know if this helps with your issue.

Regards,
