While working on a file (size 120 MB) , graphics seems to be in broken wireframe even in shaded view . Unable to properly estimate the start and end of a family .

The problem seems to happen after working extensively on wall layers .

The problem is causing difficulty in modeling and suspect Data has been corrupted .

Even linked file appears to be affected.

Try any or all of the following

  1. File Menu >> Options >> Hardware >> Disable "Use Hardware acceleration
  2. Switch off any Linked DWG in the view
  3. Check for elements/lines with large extents
  4. recreate the 3D view
  5. Check GPU drives if they are up to date
  6. Check you have the latest build of the revit version you are using (i think it was 2018.3)
